Gladys M. Parker, 95, of Old Rt. 18, Wampum passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 at the Ellwood City Hospital following a brief illness. Born October 3, 1920 in Wampum, she was the daughter of the late Charles Herman and Nina James Hall. She was married in April of 1942 to Leroy S. Parker who passed away in 1971. Gladys graduated as the valedictorian of the Class of 1938 at Wampum High School. While in high school she was a member of the basketball team. Terry E Wisbith, 69, of Od Route 18, Wampum died Monday, September 5, 2016 at the VMC – Oakland Hospital following a brief illness. Born June 11, 1947 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary L. Petruchik Wisbith. He was married for 45 years to Jeanette Sellers Wisbith who survives. Hazel “Betty” Walton Vogel, 73, formerly of Portersville passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 1, 2016 at her residence in Emporium, PA. Born December 15, 1942 in Castlewood, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ellen Williams Walton. Betty worked for the United States Postal Service for 25 years, retiring as the Postmaster of Austin, PA. She enjoyed traveling with her companion, Robert McClymonds, living six months in Emporium and the other six months in Fruitland Park, Florida. She will truly be missed by her family.
