Charles Carl Meeker Sr., 68, of Chewton passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 at UPMC – Jameson Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Born November 21, 1949 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Calvin and Elenor (Neal) Meeker. He was married to Lori Tillia Meeker for 24 years. She survives. Carl served with the 6th Battalion, 84th Artillery in the Army in Vietnam. He also served with the Philadelphia Army Reserves. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chewton. He was married to Margaret L. Newton Price for 69 years when she passed away September 13, 2017. Keith retired from Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company following 37 years of service. Pidge graduated from Wampum High School where he played on the 1960 State Champion Basketball Team. He retired from Medusa Cement Company where he was an equipment mechanic for 31 years.
