ELLWOOD Group Announces Return Of Industrial Maintenance Scholarship Program For 2023

[New Castle, PA] ELLWOOD Group announced last week that applications are now being accepted for the ELLWOOD Industrial Maintenance Scholarship. The program is a unique opportunity available to high school seniors and/or those who have successfully completed the GED test who plan to attend an accredited trade school, college or university following graduation. The scholarships are being made available to those 2023 graduates who are considering pursuing a certificate or degree in Mechatronics, or an equivalent industrial maintenance program. Mayor Anthony J. Court enjoyed the Halloween festivities held in Ellwood City last month. Mayor Court, along with some Ellwood City Police officers, rode in the parade, held on Saturday, October 22nd, and gave out candy to the kids. On Trick or Treat night, Monday, October 31st, the Mayor along with the police officers and fire department rode around Ellwood City meeting with the kids and giving them treats. REMINDER — VOTE NOW! Christ Presbyterian Church Boar’s Head Festival Returns!

After a two year hiatus, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Christ Presbyterian Church is happy to announce the return of the “Boar’s Head Festival.” The festival will take place the Saturday after Thanksgiving and, again on Saturday, December 3, 2022 and on Sunday, December 4, 2022. Lincoln High School To Offer European Trip In Summer 2024

Lincoln High School is planning an educational European tour for the summer of 2024. Students will experience Paris, Provence, and Barcelona, Spain, over a 10 day trip according to Jason Bell, Spanish Teacher at Lincoln. The trip is open to all students who are currently enrolled in 9th through 12th grade. Bell and Mrs. Mandy Long will chaperon the trip coordinated with EF Tours, the district educational travel partner.
