Court recently presented a proclamation to the 2024 Ellwood City Wolverines Football Team for one of the most successful seasons in the history of the school The team finished with a remarkable 10-1 record in 2024, finishing the regular season undefeated and securing the MAC Section Title. Santa Claus Coming To Franklin Township On Saturday

Ho, ho, ho! Santa Claus is coming to town. Frankin Township that is. On Saturday, December 22nd, Santa Claus will be escorted by the Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Department to see all of the good girls and boys this holiday weekend. The route will begin in Tomicia Springs at noon. Listen for sirens and look for the flashing red lights to announce Santa’s arrival. Aaron Lake scored 12 points and Chuckie Schweinsberg connected on two critical fourth quarter 3-pointers to lead Ellwood City to a 35-32 rivalry victory over Riverside Tuesday evening at Lincoln High School. Mayor Court Presents Proclamation To EC Boys Golf Team

Mayor Anthony J. Court recently presented a proclamation to Ellwood City Boy’s Golf Team on their outstanding and heroic 2024 season. The mayor proclaimed Monday, December 16, 2024 as the ‘Ellwood City Boy’s Golf Team Day’ in the Borough. The team was undefeated Section Champions, earning its first undefeated season since 1975. The Lady Panthers bested rival Ellwood City 54-50 Monday evening at Riverside High School. Camryn Friello connected on four 3-pointers, including two in a pivotal fourth quarter, en route to her game-high 16 points to lead Riverside. Riverside entered the final quarter trailing by two points, but used a six point cushion in the frame to come out ahead for the victory.
