Marsha E. Timblin, of New Castle, PA and Cape Canaveral, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 1st, 2025, in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Born on July 2nd, 1943, Marsha was the daughter of the late George N. Thornhill and Maryland E. Thornhill (Neff). She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1961, earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), and later received her Master of Arts in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of New York at Buffalo. It’s that exciting time of year again—REC Wrestling registration for the 2025–2026 season is still open! If your child has ever wanted to step onto the mat, learn discipline and confidence, and have a blast doing it, now’s the perfect time to join. Drug Raid At Ellwood City Residence Results In Four Arrests

According to a criminal complaint, a task force raid at a house in Ellwood City results in the arrest of four local individuals and the seizuire of suspected methamphetamine and other suspected narcotics. Daniel Martin, 46; Donald McClain, 53; Ryleigh Lucas, 31; and Matthew Caldwell, 33, all of Ellwood City are each charged with counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and/or Delivery of a Controlled Substance after the Lawrence County HIDTA Task Force executed a search warrant at a house at McClain’s address in the 400 block of Third Street, Ellwood City. Unbeaten Western Beaver (7-0, 4-0 Section 2A-2) knocked off host Ellwood City 29-12 Friday night at Helling Stadium. Sydney Woodhead was crowned homecoming queen at halftime. Jackson Kerr was crowned Homecoming King at a pep rally on Thursday. Standout junior running back Wyatt Sparbanie went down with an injury in the first quarter but the visiting Golden Beavers leaned on two additional supplies of offensive in the conference victory.
