BC3 Announces President’s List, Dean’s List, and Graduates For Spring 2022

Butler County Community College is proud to announce the names of students who have made the President’s List and Dean’s List for the Spring 2022 semester, as well as the names of those who have graduated recently. Students who have achieved a cumulative GPA (grade-point average) of 3.75 or higher are named to the President’s List following completion of at least 12 semester hours or upon completion of degree requirements. Col. Max Giovannini (USAF-Ret.) died on 10 May 2022 at the age of 93 in San Antonio, Texas. His long life was characterized by unwavering devotion to his family and country. He epitomized the “officer and gentleman.” He was born to Filippo and Irene Giovannini in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Geneva College, he was awarded a commission in the U.S. Air Force and began a 29-year military career in the new USAF Security Service. Pennsylvania’s enforcement of its dog laws is, and for several years has been, in trouble, and legislation newly introduced by Sen. POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: On May 31, 2022 at approximately 1:47 a.m., police were searching an area for a group of males who attempted to break into a vehicle, and observed a blue Chrysler PT Cruiser make an abrupt turn down Petain Street from Jefferson Avenue. According to a criminal complaint, and upon following the vehicle, police observed a rear passenger exit the vehicle and begin to push the vehicle resulting in police initiating a traffic stop. $800,000 Awarded For Lawrence County Affordable Housing, Blight-Fighting Projects

Four projects to fight blight and expand affordable housing are receiving a combined $800,000 in funding from the Pennsylvania Housing Affordability and Rehabilitation Enhancement fund, state Rep. Chris Sainato announced today.
