The Lawrence County Conservation District and the Lawrence-Mercer Recycling/Solid Waste Department are partnering on a workshop about about rain barrels, stormwater management, backyard composting, rain gardens and more!
Not only will you learn how to collect and use these resources, but you’ll also learn about their importance to you, your community, your climate and your environment.
The class is set for Tuesday evening, October 22, 2024 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. It will be held at the Lawrence County Community Action Partnership (LCCAP), 1745 Frew Mill Road, New Castle, PA – Building #7. Drive through the main gates and follow signs.
The workshop is $10.00 (payable at the door) to attend and includes your choice of a Rain Barrel or Compost Bin (while supplies last). Participation is limited to 40 people.
