Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of October 30th

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

The Library has partnered with Seneca Library District, Oil Creek Library District, Erie County Public Library and Crawford County Federated Library System for e-books. You can now use the Overdrive or Libby App. to borrow books from the above Libraries. Please call the library with any questions.

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 30

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Manipulative Mondays,” a program for children to learn in a hands on environment.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 31

• 10:00 a.m. – “Baby Laptime,” a program for babies, toddlers and preschool age children. Please call the Library to register.
• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Lego Duplo Tuesdays,” a program for children to come and build with Lego’s and Duplo bricks.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 1

• 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. –“Coloring for Adults,” a program for adults to come and de-stress while coloring with either our supplies or their own.
• 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” a group that meets and works on individual projects. New people are welcome.
• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Building Buddies,” a program for children to come and build using our blocks.
• 6:00 p.m. – “Evening Book Group for Adults,” will be discussing the book “The Last House Guest” by Megan Miranda.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 2

• 12:15 p.m. – “Preschool Storytime,” a program for preschool age children that are toilet trained. Please call the Library to register.
• 3:00 p.m. – “Hooked on Books Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Seraphina and the Black Cloak” by Robert Beatty.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4

• 10:00 a.m. – “Reading Buddies,” children can practice reading to the dogs.
• Noon – “Literary Luncheon” at the Connoquenessing Country Club. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. Tickets can be purchased from a board member or at the Library.
