Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of October 31

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

The Library has partnered with Seneca Library District, Oil Creek Library District, Erie County Public Library and Crawford County Federated Library System for e-books. You can now use the Overdrive or Libby App. to borrow books from the above Libraries. Please call the library with any questions.

Hours are Monday and Tuesday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

Activities taking place this week include.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 1

• 10:00 a.m. – “Baby Laptime,” a program for babies, toddlers, and pre-school age children. Registration is requested.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 2

• 6:00 p.m. – “Family Storytime” a program for babies, toddler, and pre-school age children. Registration is requested.
• 6:30 p.m. – “Evening Book Group for Adults,” will be discussing the book “When No One Was Watching” by Alyssa Cole

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3

• 10:00 a.m. – “Pre-School Storytime” a program for pre-school age children that are toilet trained. Registration is requested.
• 3:00 p.m. – “Hooked on Books Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Chains” by Laurie Halse Anderson

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5

• 10:00 a.m. – “Read with the dogs program,” Children can come in and practice their reading by reading to the dogs.

Noon November 19th will be the Literary Luncheon at Connoquenessing Country Club. Tickets are for sale at the Library.
