The Ellwood City Playground Program begins on Monday, June 11. Children must be between the ages of 5-13 and must be Ellwood City Borough residents. A parent or guardian must accompany their child to register them for the program.
The bus will NOT be picking children up the first day of the program, June 11, to ensure that parents will come with their child to complete the registration form. The bus will be picking children up to return them home at the end of the first day if you choose to have your child ride the bus home. After the first day, the bus will run the normal schedule.
There are two different bus schedules one for the morning and one for the afternoon.
The morning (AM) bus pickup schedule will be as follows:
9:35 Hartman School
9:40 Circle Playground
9:45 Northside School
9:50 Walnut Ridge Community Center
The afternoon (PM) bus drop off schedule will be as follows:
2:05 Walmart Ridge Community Center
2:10 Northside School
2:15 Circle Playground
2:20 Hartman School
If the bus doesn’t arrive within 10 to 15 minutes from the scheduled pickup time in the morning the program has been canceled. Parents can also follow The Ellwood City Playground Program on Facebook for updates on cancellations.
Below are the program rules that parents should review:
