Riverside High School has 102 seniors graduating in the class of 2018. There are five students who have received high honors.
The top five students are listed in alphabetical order below:
Jenna R. Hart, daughter of Randy and Diane Hart, played on Riverside’s varsity soccer and track teams throughout high school and was captain of the soccer team. She was vice president of the National Honor Society, and president of both the crochet club and newspaper club. Hart plans to attend the Community College of Beaver County.
Catherine M. Kohlman, daughter of Thomas and Linda Kohlman, was a member of the National Honor Society, teen leadership club, science club, Students Against Destructive Decisions, chess club, Moody’s Math Challenge, mock trial, international club, Hometown High Q, Model United Nations, superteam, envirothon and varsity track and field, tennis and cross-country. She was also a group leader for the chain reaction contraption, a participant in the Carpenter’s Project, senior class treasurer, student council secretary and a volunteer at the food bank, Mr. Riverside Fundraising, the annual senior citizen holiday luncheon and Santa’s breakfast. Kohlman plans to attend Penn State University.
Nash D. Ridgley, son of Don and Sheri Ridgley, was a member of the National Honor Society, student council and science and chess club. He was the vice president of newspaper club his senior year and senior class secretary. He volunteered at a soccer snack shack, the Zelienople library and helped children learn how to play soccer. Ridgley plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh.
Adam C. Saunders, son of Christopher and Saveria Saunders, participated in Bible club and science club throughout high school. He was president of the science club junior year, and was a member of National Honor Society junior and senior years. Saunders played on the PA West Olympic Development Soccer Team for five years and he played in a soccer national league from 2016 to 2017. He volunteered at a vacation Bible school and is also a licensed eighth-grade youth soccer referee. Saunders plans to attend Westminster College.
Sydney S. Wolf, daughter of John and Jamie Wolf, participated in track and field, cross-country and basketball throughout high school. She was a member of the crochet club, National Honor Society and TLC. She was a member of student council throughout high school and was vice president her senior year. Wolf plans to attend Seton Hill University.
