Activities taking place at the Ellwood City Area Public Library include the following:
Wednesday, January 11, at 10:00 a.m. — “Coloring for Adults,” a weekly program that is free and open to the public. “Coloring for Adults” is a new concept in helping to reduce the stresses of everyday life. Everyone is welcome, so call the library at 724-758-6458 for more information.
Thursday, January 12, at 3:00 p.m. – “Hooked on Books,” a book discussion group for students in 6th through 8th grades. The group will discuss the book, “Hollow City” by Ransom Riggs. Call the library for more information.
Thursday, January 12, at 6:00 p.m. — Adult Knitting Group. The group meets weekly at the library with members working on individual projects and providing their own materials. New members are always welcome, so call the library for more information.
The library will be closed on Monday, January 16, in observance of the Martin Luther King Day holiday. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, January 17.
There will be no “Movie Night for Adults” in January. Plans are to resume the Movie Nights in February. Call the library at the end of this month for more information or for a schedule of the dates and films to be shown.
Plans for winter and spring activities at the library are under way, so call the library toward the end of the month for a list of all that’s happening
