Vision Ministries recently presented a program titled, Beyond the Stigma: Understanding Addiction, at the New Englander in New Castle, Pennsylvania recently.
The program focused on the impact of illegal narcotics and the efforts communities are making to protect children, support families, reduce crime, and create safer neighborhoods, featuring protection against illegal narcotics.
The event highlighted the importance of education, prevention, and community partnerships in addressing substance abuse and its effects on families and communities. Participants discussed ways local organizations, law enforcement, and community leaders can work together to combat addiction while providing support and resources to those affected.
Mayor Anthony J. Court emphasizes the need for a united approach in the fight against illegal drugs.
“Together, we are sending a clear message that illegal narcotics have no place in our communities. We remain committed to doing everything possible to keep our communities safe, strong, and moving forward,” said Court. “The program reinforced the shared commitment of community leaders, organizations, and residents to continue raising awareness, supporting recovery efforts, and building a safer future for all.”
