Mrs. Amy Jo Love, 66, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, September 28th, 2026 at her residence.
Amy was born in Ellwood City on February 1st, 1960 to the late Jack L. and Shirley A. (Sternquist) Hangst. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1977. For many years Amy worked at the Ellwood City Hospital as the Head of Admission until the closing of the hospital.
She is survived by her brother Jeffrey Hangst of Geneva, Switzerland, nieces Zofia Hangst and Amelie Hangst also of Geneva, Switzerland, nephews Jonas Hangst & Kristian Hangst both of Aarhus, Denmark, half-sister Andrea Hangst of Chicago, step-daughter Kristin Love and her spouse Eric Barbiea of Florence, KY, and step-son Bryan Love of Florence, KY.
Preceding her in death where her parents, husband James Love, sister Jacqueline Hangst, grandparents Violet and Ted Hoover and John and Amanda Hangst.
There will not be a public service. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
