Ellwood City has two beautiful parks, Ewing Park and Stiefel Park, and the Borough plans to keep these parks at their best.
The borough recently landscaped and painted Trefoil Lodge at Ewing Park and renovated the Lil Angels field located at Stiefel Park.
“These parks have not been given the attention they deserve. Not many communities have a swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball court, and multiple playing fields available for their pleasure and use. We plan to keep our parks at their best and have plans to continue these improvements,” said Borough Manager Jeff Foley in a statement.
The borough plans to also install a new metal roof on the shelter, dug outs and concession stand at the Lil Angels field.
The metal roof was donated to the Lil Angels and the Borough will install according to Foley.
