Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of September 21st

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

HOURS

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

BOOK SALE COLLECTION:

We are taking donations for the book sale in October. We do not take textbooks, readers digest condensed books, magazines, encyclopedias or VHS tapes.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 21

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22

• 10:30 a.m. –“Music, Movement and More,” a program for children to dance, sing and play instruments.
• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items..

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23

• *Pizza Joe’s in Ellwood City Fundraiser. When you place your order, if you say the library’s name, we receive 15%.
• 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – “Adult Special Needs Hangout,” come as an individual or with a group. Crafts and activities provided but feel free to bring your own as well. All are welcome.
• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 2:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – “Tween and Teen After School Club,” come and hang out, do crafts, play games, and have a snack.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. – “Classics Adult Book Group” will be discussing the book “The Outsiders” by S.E. Hinton
• 6:00 p.m. – Friends of the Library fundraising meeting

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25

• 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” bring your own supplies or use ours.
• 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” work on your own individual projects while socializing with other knitters.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26

September 26th the library will be closed until we will open for our annual “Magical Library” from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Witches, wizards, and Muggles of all ages are invited to explore enchanting rooms, discover hidden surprises, and experience the wonder of a library transformed. This is a FREE family event, for all ages. All are welcome.
