Ellwood City Family Center To Host Youth Volleyball Clinic For 7th & 8th Grade

The Ellwood City Family Center is set to host a five-day youth volleyball clinic in July for 7th and 8th grade students.

The session will be held at the Ellwood City Family Center on the North Side of Ellwood City during the week of July 20th. The dates are July 20,21,22,23,24 2026

There will be a one-hour and 15 minute session for grades 7 and 8 for the fall year 2026 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

“Our goal is to enhance volleyball in the community,” says John Dibuono. “We plan to teach the game of volleyball through the development of individual skills, fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship.”

Former Ellwood City Head Coach Jenna Riciutti will be leading the clinic.

The cost for the program is $45. Due date is July 13th, 2026

“It is going to be a great volleyball program for both beginners and players,” adds Dibuono. “Players can expect fundamentals of hitting, passing and serving. If time permits volleyball rotations. Perfect for any player wanting to improve before the school season.”

Due to the availability of time slots and facility size, there will be a cut-off after the first 25 applicants in the session as space is limited at the indoor facility.

You will only receive a phone call or email if the program exceeds the maximum number of players.
