Andrea Marie Magnifico, 65

Andrea Marie Magnifico, 65, of Ellwood City passed away peacefully at home on May 1, 2026, after a courageous battle with metastatic colon cancer. She was surrounded by love in her final moments, with her dear friends, Kris Wheeler and Mary Ann Graziano, and her devoted sister, Beth Ann Magnifico, at her bedside.

Born on January 29, 1961, Andrea was a beloved daughter of Dominick and Gerry Pertile Magnifico. A faithful Catholic, a dedicated athlete, a passionate teacher, a loyal friend, and a cherished sister. She lived her life with strength, grace, and compassion, touching the lives of all who knew her. Andrea had retired from Central Valley School District, where she taught 1st grade. Her commitment to her students and colleagues reflected her generous spirit and unwavering dedication to helping others grow and succeed.

Andrea found joy in her faith, in movement and athletics, and in the meaningful relationships she cultivated throughout her life. She will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the quiet strength with which she faced life’s challenges.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM by Fr. James Wehner.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to those who supported Andrea throughout her illness, especially Kris Wheeler, Mary Ann Graziano, Kristen Perno Westlund, Jackie and Bob Perno, Maureen McElhinny, Donna Pertile.

Andrea’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May she rest in peace.
