Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of March 2nd

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

HOURS

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, MARCH 2

  • 10:30 a.m. “Music and Movement,” a program for children to sing, dance and play instruments.
  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

TUESDAY, MARCH 3

  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4

  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
  • 1:30 p.m. – “Preschool Storytime,” children can interact with stories and songs.
  • 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – “Tween and Teen After School Club,” snacks and activities for grades 5-12.

THURSDAY, MARCH 5

  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
  • 5:00 p.m. – “Hospice Education 101” come and learn about Hospice care. There is more to it than end of life care. Light refreshments will be served.

FRIDAY, MARCH 6

  • 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” bring your own material or use the libraries.
  • 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” Come and socialize while you work on a project.

SATURDAY, MARCH 7

  • 9:00 a.m. – “Reading Buddies,” come and read to the dogs.
  • 9:30 a.m. – “Little Librarians,” ages K-2nd can learn all about the library.
  • 10:30 a.m. – “Pokemon Club,” for ages K-8.
  • 11:45 a.m. – “Choose Your Own Book Club,” 3rd -5th grade can pick their own books then do planned activities all while having a snack.
  • 1:45 p.m. – “Teen Cooking Club,” 7th -12th can come and learn to make easy snacks and meals.
  • 2:30 p.m. – “Books, Thoughts and Snacks,” 6th – 12th can pick their own books then complete book journaling while eating snacks.

SAVE THE DATE

Friday March 13th 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. – “Family Game Night,” Enjoy your time playing games with your family and other families of the community.

Saturday March 14th 9:00 – 1:00 p.m.
“Infant and Children CPR,” this program will have certification for $40 cash or check. You must sign up to attend. Any questions reach out to Anita Yoder at ayoderrefd23@gmail.com or 724-333-4992. This will work for teacher certification.
