Bonnie L. Stabryla, 77

Bonnie L. Stabryla, 77, of Ellwood City passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Creek Meadows in Zelienople following a short illness.

Born January 10, 1948, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Betty Boots Carroll.

Bonnie worked as a bank teller locally for 52 years. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially for her family and friends. Fishing and camping trips with her husband, Aaron, were some of her happiest times. She loved her dogs and cherished moments with her close friends and family.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 29 years, Aaron Stabryla; daughter, Carroll Bonfield of Ellwood City; grandson, Trent Bonfield; two sisters, Jackie Streckeisen of Ellwood City and Cindy (Duane) Martin of Clearbrook, VA, and brother-in-law, John Contrucci of Erie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dawn Contrucci in 2018 and her brother-in-law, Dick Streckeisen in 2017.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday December 27, 2025, from 11 am until the Funeral Service at 2 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Rev. Travis Richendrfer of the Assembly of God will officiate. Interment will be in Wurtemburg Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society.
