Spring has arrived, and it’s the perfect time to get your yards looking their best. Mayor Anthony J. Court is excited to announce the return of the Beautification Awards for Ellwood City. Mayor Court will soon be visiting neighborhoods to select six exceptional yards for his annual Beautification Awards. Mayor Court stated “Choosing the winners is never easy, given the impressive competition.”
Do you know someone whose yard deserves recognition? Whether it’s a friend, family member, or neighbor, feel free to submit their name for consideration to the Mayor by dropping off your nomination at the Mayor’s officer in the Municipal Building on Lawrence Avenue or by calling Mayor Court at 724-824-7629
Now in its 16th year, the Beautification Awards continue to celebrate community pride. Each winner will receive a gift certificate to a local restaurant and a special sign to showcase their accomplishment.
Nominations open on May 19, 2025.
