Wayne Township residents are invited to participate in the annual clean-up day, which will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until Noon at the Wayne Township Municipal Building, located at 1418 Wampum Road, Ellwood City, PA 16117.
This event is for Wayne Township residents only. Proof of residency is required.
The cost to participate is $10.00 per load with a $50.00 per load fee for vehicles larger than a car or regular pick-up truck. Each mattress will be $15.00.
We are ready to accept and properly dispose of household items, furniture, and other non-hazardous materials. However, please note that we cannot accept freon, paint, tires, construction materials, garbage, or electronics, including TVs and computer monitors.
Upon arrival, residents are advised to drive to the double-stall garage doors at the municipal building. Here, they can conveniently register and pay the participation fee.
Our dedicated crews will be available to assist with unloading items.

The Township Supervisors meet the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm, Township Municipal Authority meets the THIRD Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm., Planning Commission meets the second THURSDAY of each month at 7:00 pm., on an as-needed basis, and Wayne Township Zoning Adhoc Committee meets on the second Thursday of every month at 6:00 p.m., on an as-needed basis.
