Carl Koziar, 67, of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024 art UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. Carl was born in Ellwood City on November 5th, 1956 to the late George and Charlotte (McClelland) Koziar. He had graduated from Riverside High School and later from Capital Campus of Penn State University in August of 1978. Carl was a hard worker. He became a millwright welder in the maintenance department at the Babcock & Wilcox Steel Mill. He then worked at the Alaron Corporation as operations manager. It is with complete sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mrs. Bonnie M. Poff, 77 of Franklin Township, on December 31st, 2023 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Mrs. Poff was born on October 20th, 1946 in Calumet, Pennsylvania to Frank and Zethel (Weightman) Emanuel. She graduated from Hurst (Mt. Pleasant) High School and from Indiana University where she earned her master’s degree in Elementary Education, which was where she met her husband, Mike. Leslie Ann Bauder, 65, of Ellwood City passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Donald Ray and Jacqueline Ann (McKissick) Bauder and was born January 7, 1958.
