The Borough of Ellwood City has announced its annual fall clean up event scheduled next month.
The Fall Clean Up event is scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2024 and will take place from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
The drop off location is the parking lot at 1210 Factory Avenue in Ellwood City, just west of Adams Manufacturing Building #4 and prior to the Moose Lodge (same location as 2023).
The cost is $10.00 per passenger vehicle.
You MUST buy a ticket by Thursday, October 17th at noon at the Utility Office in the Municipal Building, 525 Lawrence Avenue. Tags can be purchased at the Utility Billing Window M-F 8:00am-3:30pm.
Curbside pick-up is available for senior citizens and handicapped only for $35.00/household. MUST provide proof to Borough. You may sign up for curbside pickup by visiting the Utility Billing window at the Municipal Building by Thursday, October 17th at noon. Payment is due at sign up. Once signed up, your items will be picked up on your regular trash day the following week.
Items NOT accepted include: Tires, car batteries, broken concrete, bricks, stones, dirt, dismantled automobiles, containers with liquid (solvents, paint thinners, oil, gas, kerosene), paint cans (unless emptied and dried), hazardous materials, items containing freon, electronic waste, TVs, desktop and laptop computers, monitors, fax machines, printers, DVR or DVD players, game consoles, and phones.
Please note, October 17th at noon is the deadline to purchase curbside and drop off tickets. No exceptions will be made.
