Franklin Township will be holding their 10th Annual National Night Out Event on Tuesday, August 6th, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Franklin Plaza in Ellwood City.
There will be free activities for children, fire safety, CPR training, prize giveaways, and food vendors. The annual event will host approximately 40 vendors for the event.
According to the township, there will be firetrucks, police cars, ambulance service, face painters, a balloon twister, an obstacle course and giant slide, CPR instruction, free blood pressure screenings, hearing screening, and a dunk tank.
National Night Out, “America’s Night Out Against Crime,” began in 1984 and culminates annually on the first Tuesday in August.
