Wayne Township residents are invited to participate in the annual clean-up day, which will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until Noon at the Wayne Township Municipal Building, located at 1418 Wampum Road, Ellwood City, PA 16117.
This event is for Wayne Township residents only. Proof of residency is required. The cost to participate is $10.00 per pickup truckload. Items that we are ready to accept and properly dispose of include household items, furniture, and other non-hazardous materials. However, please note that we cannot accept freon, paint, tires, construction materials, garbage, electronics including TVs and computer monitors.
Two mattresses will be accepted at no charge. There will be a $5.00 fee for any additional mattresses.
Upon arrival, residents are advised to drive to the double-stall garage doors at the municipal building. Here, they can conveniently register and pay the participation fee of $ 10.00 per pickup truckload. Our dedicated crews will be available to assist with unloading items.

The announcement of the 2024 clean-up date comes months after a motion to not hold the clean-up day that passed 2-1 in a March meeting. After all three supervisors discussed the clean up day again in April, it was voted on last Thursday at the township meeting with a 3-0 vote to move forward with the 2024 township clean up.
