Kirk P. Derrow Sr., 48

Kirk P. Derrow Sr., 48, of Franklin Township passed away on Wednesday, February 21st, 2024 at his residence.

Kirk was born on February 25th, 1975 in Ellwood City to Milo Derrow and the late Yvonne (Francis) Winkle. He graduated in 1994 from Riverside High School where he participated in cross country and other track and field activities. Kirk worked for Allied Rubber and Supply Company in the hydraulic shop as a counter operator. An outdoorsman, he was an avid hunter, and enjoyed fishing and taking canoe trips with his family. Kirk also was a NASCAR fan and previously played softball and baseball. He had a passion for horses especially for his two therapy horses.

He is survived by his wife, Carisa (Rugh) Derrow of Franklin Township whom he married on February 3rd, 2018, his son Kirk Derrow Jr. of Wampum, step-son Dante Sayson and his fiancé Elecia M. of Franklin Township, father and step-mother Milo and Diane Derrow of Heath Springs, SC, sister Cheri (Chuck) Martin of Darlington, step-sisters Deana Phillips of Shenango Township, Elena Phillips of Wampum, and Allison Attisano of Pittsburgh, grandchildren Decklan and Laiten H., his mother and father-in-law Shirley and William D. Rugh of Franklin Township, nephew Andrew J., and many other nieces, and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, February 24th, 2024 from 1:00 pm until the time of memorial service at 4:00 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Pastor Sam Fidele officiating.
