Pauline Selva, 95

Mrs. Pauline Selva, 95, a cherished Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt passed away peacefully Sunday, February 11, 2024 at the Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio surrounded by her family’s love.

Pauline was born November 30, 1928 in Ellwood City, PA, to the late Nicholas Lewchenko and Barbara (Cieply) Lewchenko. She attended Lincoln High School and was a member of the concert choir, as music was always her passion. She was a parishioner of St. Agatha Church and was employed in Ellwood City. (GC Murphy’s, The Ellwood Knitting Mill, and the Ellwood City Hospital).

She could warm your heart with just a smile, her happiness and joy contagiously filled any room. She enjoyed ballroom dancing with her husband, along with entertaining her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Throughout all stages of her life, she was genuinely rooted in community involvement. She was most committed to helping at Volen Center in Boca Raton, Florida and the Gillie Community Center in Columbus, Ohio. She expressed her artistic side through crafting pottery and woodworking making custom canes for her children. She especially loved playing Bingo and was often a winner.

She is survived by her children Ronan J. (Joy) Selva of Palm Beach, Florida, Kimberly A. (Michael) Spomer of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Cheryl A. Ray of Upper Arlington, Ohio, and Michelle A. (Joseph) Falzone of Boca Raton, Florida. Grandchildren: Claressa, Malissa, David, Nicole, Johnathan, Samantha, Jeremy and Erica. Great grandchildren: Elio, Liam, Luca, Scarlett, Nico, Christopher Jr, Zane, Amya and Cody. She was a caring Aunt to many special nieces and nephews. Including being a great, great, great Aunt.

Preceded in death by her loving husband Ronald J. Selva and her daughter Ronnelle A. Buch, she was preceded to heaven by her sisters Josephine Stoyanoff, Sherry Ann Leech, Mary Flumer, Olga Kello, Helen E. Naderinski, Sophie Knotts, and her brothers Nicholas Lewchenko Jr., Michael Lewchenko, and John Lewchenko.

A private viewing for the family will be at Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. from 9:00am to 10:30am on Monday, February 19th, 2024. A mass of Christian burial will follow at Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church at 11:00 am , 300 Crescent Avenue, Ellwood City, PA, February 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM for extended family and friends. Entombment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery, St. Peter’s Mausoleum.
