Mrs. Betty Ruth Rodgers-Haswell, 92, formerly of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, November 17th, 2023 at the Avalon Nursing Home. Ruth was born on October 24th, 1931 in Ellwood City to the late John and Elizabeth (Hango) Bakty. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Shelley (Michael) LaCava of Ellwood City, son, Bryan (Patty) Rodgers of Bethel Park, grandchildren, Kristen, Kara, Jeremy (Kara), Codi, Julie and Tori, great-granddaughter, Taylor, and sister-in-law, Jean (Tony) Lasso of Ohio.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Robert Rodgers, second husband, Wayne Haswell, and her son, Brad Rodgers who passed away on July 8th 2023.
Per Ruth’s requests there will be no public visitation. Interment will be at Locust Grove Cemetery. Final Arrangements entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.
