Offense output may be on display Friday as Washington has the highest-scoring offense in WPIAL Class 2A at 37.8 ppg with a season-high of 67 points in a Week 8 drubbing of Charleroi. The visiting Wolverines (5-5 Overall) are averaging a solid 28.4 points per game, a top 10 mark in Class 2A.
Elijah Palmer-McCane who finished with 154 yards in the Wolverines playoff-clinching rout of Riverside last week will enter Friday’s contest just 35 yards shy of the Ellwood City single-season rushing record (1,427) set by Thad Wiley over three decades ago in 1991.
The Prexies only misstep was a 21-14 loss on October 20th at home versus Keystone Oaks.
This will be the first time the two teams meet in their history.
