Borough of Ellwood City Announces 2023 Trick or Treat Night

Mayor Anthony J. Court has set Trick or Treat night for the Borough of Ellwood City.

The Mayor set the day and time for Tuesday, October 31st at 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m.

Mayor Court stated that he likes to have Trick or Treat right on Halloween night.

“Have a fun Trick or Treat night but always remember to be safe,” says Court. “Children should only go to well lit homes and be extra careful while crossing streets.”

  1. Mayor Court says to stick to well lit homes, when trick or treating in the day time.

  2. Concerned that most people do not get home from work till 5 or a little after! Also it will not be dark to tell what houses are well lit! I have not heard one person that is happy about this time for trick or treating! If you wanted it to be on Halloween day then you should have left the time 6-8. If you wanted the time to be early then you should have stuck to the weekend day when everyone had time to enjoy themselves with their families!
