Dennis “Denny” P. Main, 79

Mr. Dennis “Denny” P. Main, 79, of Ellwood City passed away on Saturday, July 29th, 2023 at his residence with his loving family at his bedside.

Denny was born on June 14th, 1944 in New Castle to the late Ken and Jennie (Tirlea) Main. He had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1962. Denny had worked at the Aetna Standard Engineering Company and then at the Ellwood City Forge from 1967 until he retired in 2003. He is a 32nd Degree member of the F. & A.M. in both Ellwood City and New Castle.

Dennis loved a lot of things this world offered him, like flying, he had his private pilots license. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf, going to the casino, cooking, traveling, and loved planting his garden each year. He was a volunteer fireman for Ellwood City and also the chef for a number of years.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years Roberta “Bobbie” (Allen) Main whom he married on June 20th, 1981, son Deric (Mary) Main of Landisville, PA, grandchildren Gunner and Sadie Main, and sister Jennifer “Jeff” Birnley of Scottsdale, AZ
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John Ungham.

As per Denny’s wishes there will not be a public service. The final arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.

To honor his memory as a friend please remember the fun times you spent with Dennis. He will be very much missed.
