Grand Paws Pet Salon & Boutique will be offering the same fur-endly services, but in a new location.
Operations are moving to 609 Lawrence Ave. The doors will open to the new location on Tuesday, April 4 (the salon will be closed today and Saturday April 1, while the crew makes the move).
Grand Paws co-owner, Kelly Fennell, said she and her partner Jessica Sommers are excited for the opportunities in their new space.
“Everything is the same, just a different location,” Fennell said. “The new location is comparable in size and even offers room for another tub, which means we might be able to potentially hire more groomers at some point.”
Fennell said the move has been a long time coming, and a good client of Grand Paws had a space available.
“It was an opportunity to have a larger space, so it was a good push for us to move.”
She is also looking forward to the chance to personalize the space.
“I can make it my own with free reign of my own design and everything is brand new.”
Fennell also said that the nearby buildings make it an attractive area of Main Street to be located in.
“There are some really spiffy buildings around us.”
Grand Paws opened in 2009, and has built a steady clientele in the community.
“We appreciate the ongoing support as we transition to the new location. There may be a few bumps in the road as we get used to our new space.”
