Nicholas Anthony Frisk Jr., 81

Nicholas Anthony Frisk Jr., 81, of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2022 at his residence while in his wife’s arms.

Born on August 23rd, 1941, in Ellwood City. Nick was the son of late Nicholas Anthony Frisk Sr. and Clara Rose Frisk of Ellwood City.

After setting numerous records as a half back for the Lincoln High Wolverines, Nick went on to play football at Baldwin Wallace University on a scholarship, where he earned a degree in history and political science. After taking time away from his education, Nick worked in Ellwood City and used his earnings to attend Ohio Northern College of Law earning his law degree.

Nick is probably best known for his distinguished career as an attorney where he helped many people navigate some of their toughest situations. His son Nicholas and daughter Breonna, along with his nephew Michael Frisk JR joined Nick at the Frisk Law Firm LLC. He was extremely proud to mention his children and nephew at his firm.

Nick is a member of the Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church, Ellwood City Wolves Club, Sons of Ital #608, and served as the Riverside School District solicitor for many years.

Nick enjoyed helping his own family, as well as many other families. Nick was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. He left an impact on everyone he met.

Nick is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Christine (Caminite), his three children, Kristen Frisk (Kirk Dalton) of Prospect, PA , Nicholas Frisk III (Joy Carcase) of Ellwood City, and Breonna Frisk (Matthew Miller) of Sewickley, PA, his grandchildren Gabriella Pigza, Alexandra Pigza, Silvana Frisk, Dominic Miller, Lena Miller, Francesca Miller, Luke Dalton, and Lorenzo frisk. He is also survived by his siblings Jerry (Carol) Frisk, Marie (Gary) Friello, Judi (Fred) Turner, and Michael Frisk Sr.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 pm and on Saturday from Noon until 1:30 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church with Father David Egan officiating. Interment will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery. Members of the Ellwood City Wolves Club are asked to meet at the funeral home on Friday by 7:00 pm to conduct a service at 7:15 pm.

Memorial contributions in Mr. Frisk’s name may be made to the Holy Redeemer Angel Fund, Ellwood City Wolves Club Scholarship Fund, or Neighborhood Legal Services (NLSA.US).

    I remember nick from high school and really enjoyed his friendship then and when I would be back in Ellwood visiting family and friends. My sympathy to the family and prayers to you all. Barb babin ricket
