Dominick Russo, 75, of Ellwood City, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022 at UPMC Mercy.
Born in New Castle on May 9, 1947, Dominick was the son of the late Bennie and Mary Rossi Russo. He married the former Kathleen Tomon on April 24, 1969. Dominick worked at Medusa Cement and later retired from Cemex. After his retirement, he also worked at American Eagle in Cranberry Township. A member of Divine Grace Parish, Dominick enjoyed cooking and baking, hunting and fishing, and working on cars. He was always doing something for someone.
Dominick is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathleen, three sons, Dominick (Beverly) Russo of Clover, SC, Brian (Jennifer) Russo of Canonsburg, PA and Daniel Russo of Ellwood City, four grandsons; Nick, Nathan, Zachary and Carter, a great-granddaughter, Lucia, two step-grandchildren, Scott and Angel and ten step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Dominick was preceded in death by his brother, Salvatore Russo.
Friends will be received on Friday, October 28th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
A Blessing Service will follow the visitation at 8:00 PM at the funeral home with Fr. Mark Thomas of Divine Grace Parish.
Memorial contributions can be made in Dominick’s name to the donor’s favorite charity.
