Erik Anderson, 50, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2022.
Born on April 23, 1972 in Phoenix, Erik was the son of Helmer T. Anderson of Iola, Wisconsin and the late Barbara Dici Anderson. Erik grew up in Miami, where he graduated from Palmetto High School and attended Miami-Dade Community College. He loved playing baseball and football, but his biggest passions in life were his love of music and his close friends. His most ambitious career was as a captain and co-owner of a commercial fishing boat with a childhood friend. Erik loved the open sea and bringing in tons of fish after long trips to the Bahamas.

In addition to his father, Erik is survived by a daughter, Tess C. Anderson of Miami, FL, a brother, Jeffrey P. Anderson of Iola, WI, an aunt, Judith Dici of Ellwood City and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara J. Dici Anderson, his maternal grandparents, Peter and Anna Dici, his paternal grandparents, Helmer and Alberta Anderson, an uncle, Paul G. Dici and aunts Betty Dici Hervatine and Shirley Anderson.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
