Madeline Ann “Che-Che” (Perrett) Kreslick, 82

Mrs. Madeline Ann “Che-Che” (Perrett) Kreslick, 82, of New Castle passed away on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022 at Rhodes Estates in New Castle.

Madeline was born on July 9th, 1939 in Ellwood City to the late Michael and Mary (Radice) Perrett. She was raised in Ellwood City and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1957. In her younger days, Madeline was known for being a champion roller skater. She worked for Po-Po’s Restaurant and Catering, Troggio’s, and later at Westminister College as a chef. She was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in Ohio, where she helped with many of the church’s fundraising events such as, breakfast buffets and fish fries. Madeline enjoyed life, traveling, playing bingo, going to casinos, sewing, crafting, and helping with family reunions. Most of all, Madeline cherished time spent with her family and friends cooking for the holidays.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly (Paul) Wolanski of New Castle, Stacey (Frank) Walker of Campbell, Ohio, Deborah (Greg) Borichevsky of Butler, Rodger (Donna) Swogger of Edinburg, Melissa (James) Ryhal of New Castle, and Brian (Mindy) Swogger of Bessemer, 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, and her brother Daniel (Marianne) Perrett of Springfield, WV.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Irvin J. Kreslick, sisters, Barbara Ann Perrett and Michele Crosby, her brother, Michael Perrett and three grandsons.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24th, from Noon until 2:00 pm at which time a blessing service will be held at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., with Father Mark Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.

The Kreslick Family asks that those attending the visitation and service to please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
