Priscilla “Pat” Tomon, 83

Priscilla “Pat” Tomon, 83, of Wayne Township, passed away at her residence on Friday, March 18, 2022.

Born in Bessemer on January 16, 1939, Pat was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen Kogut Snezic. She married John M. Tomon on October 10, 1959 and he preceded her in death on August 22, 2017. Pat retired from First Commonwealth Bank where she worked as a teller. A member of St. Mary Church, Holy Spirit Parish, Pat was also a member of Silver Sneakers and SNPJ. She and John loved to travel all over the country and most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Pat is survived by her children, John & Tracy Tomon of Ellwood City, Cynthia & Mark Huff of New Castle, Robert & Shannon Tomon of Greenbriar, TN and Larry & Nicole Tomon of Bowdoinham, ME, eight grandchildren; Mandie (Tom) Szakelyhidi, Sarah (Shawn) Beightley, Justin Tomon, Kaleigh Ann (Parker) Motelet, Kevin Huff, Robert Tomon, Jamie (Dillon) Daughtry and Sam Tomon, 11 great-grandchildren; Alexis (Tyler) Gorman, Emma Szakelyhidi, Ashlee Szakelyhidi, Samantha Beightley, Brady Beightley, Annabelle Tomon, Mason Motelet, Madden Motelet, Hazel Daughtry, Wesley Daughtry and Chassity Tomon and three sisters; Marilyn White of New Castle, Mary Jane (Mike) Pusnik of Menasha, WI and Gayle (Victor) Kozina of Niagara Falls, Ontario.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Pat was preceded in death by a son, David M. Tomon, a daughter in infancy and a grandson, David Tomon.

Friends will be received on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 25th at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church, 124 N. Beaver Street, New Castle. Private entombment will take place in St. Mary Cemetery.
