Mary Ann Stiggi, 85 of North Sewickley Township passed away at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
Born in Sharon, PA on June 2, 1936, Mary Ann was the daughter of the late, John W. and Mary Shuster Mihalcin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony A. Stiggi on December 31, 1989. Mary Ann was a Registered Nurse. She graduated the Sharon Regional of Nursing and began her career at Providence Hospital in Beaver Falls. She later worked as an Industrial Nurse at Townsend Industries and retired from the Red Cross in Beaver. Mary Ann enjoyed playing bingo but most loved her time with her grandchildren at the beach.
Mary Ann is survived by her 4 children, A. Mark Stiggi of North Sewickley Township, Gerianne Mazzant of Ft. Myers, FL, Mary Beth Nocera of Ellwood City and Terri (Daniel) Mazzant of Ellwood City, a brother, Bernard (Patricia) Mihalcin of Monroeville, PA, 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, Mary Ann was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Leonard, Robert and John Mihalcin a grandson, Daniel M. Mazzant and a son-in-law Louie Nocera.
Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 6 PM until the time of her and her son, Mark’s Blessing Service at 8 PM.
