Annual Richard Hogue Blood Drive A Success

The 8th Annual Richard Hogue Blood Drive was held recently in memory of Richard Hogue to give the gift of life to others.

“It was a wonderful event, eight years of keeping Richard Hogue’s memory alive,” said Mayor Anthony J. Court. “Again our community coming together for such a worthy cause.”

Mayor Court also would like to thank those that participated in the drive for the past eight years, Rikki Wade for the use of the Ellwood Family Center, Dominoes Pizza, and Smokin’ Dave for their contributions.

“A special thank you to Richard’s mother, Deborah Murdock,” added Court.

The blood drive was held last Friday, November 12 at the Ellwood Area Family Center’s Gym. The event was held in conjunction with Vitalent Blood Bank.
