New Recording Studio Now Open In Ellwood City

Mix, Equalize, Layer… MASTER!

Music will reverberate in Ellwood City thanks to October Recording Studio. The studio has just opened its doors and consultations are now available to artists and bands of all musical levels.

Rick Fleischer, who has played in multiple bands and has been playing music for 25 years now, and has toured the United States, Canada and Germany, has decided to open a recording studio to the community.

“My band has always recorded music on our own so it seemed fitting that we create a space where not only we can record music, but other musicians from all over can come to record their music as well” said Fleischer.

The studio is open to all artists in any genre of music, whether you are a solo artist or a full band, the studio is open to all. As well, artists of any skill level are welcome come in. The studio does have in house guitars, a drum set, keyboard, and bass guitars but if you have your own instrument you can bring it in.

October Studios uses almost exclusively Slate Digital equipment. They are running Pro Tools with dual Slate VRS8 interfaces, a Slate Raven console and Slate ML1 and ML2 microphones. They also have some Shure SM57s and 58s, a variety of guitars and basses and a Mapex 5-piece drumkit with Zildjian A custom cymbals.

Set up a consultation to take a tour, ask questions or inquire about setting up studio time. Booking forms and contact info are available on the studio website. There is no set price for a session, the price is based off what the consultation entails.
