REMINDER: Military Banner Submission Deadline Approaching

The Military Banners Programs approved by the Borough of Ellwood City earlier this year has a deadline fast approaching.

“As some people may have heard the military banner project did get approved by council and with this, forms have been flowing in,” says organizer Gabby Gretch.

After meeting with the local company responsible for printing the banners we discussed that all forms need to be submitted in to the P.O. Box by May 1st and no later.  The banners will be displayed on the light poles of Lawrence Avenue from Memorial Day until Veterans Day.

“I wanted to restate that this project only includes veterans who live in the Ellwood City area or who have graduated from Lincoln High School.”

If people want to share a banner with someone Gretch asks that it will be included on the form submitted.

As a reminder, when an order is made it is asked that the completed form is included with the payment and picture or it is not complete. One can either place a picture with the form in the mail or emailed. Email a high quality picture electronically (scanned at 600 dpi or higher) to ecmilitarybanners@gmail.com with your name or include with the completed form. (VIEW PRINTABLE FORM)

The address to submit the form is P.O. Box 904, Ellwood City, PA 16117.

“I look forward to seeing these beautiful banners hung on the light poles,” concluded Gretch. “Please spread the word about the banners because if forms are not submitted by May 1, 2021 they will have to be pushed back until next year.”

Below is an example rendering of what the banners may look like.
