Ellwood City School District Announces Spring Musical Dates

According to a release from the district, the Ellwood City Area School District is proud to announce their spring musical is planned for Friday, March 26, Saturday, March 27, and Sunday, March 28, 2021.

“The students are so excited to be performing the hysterical musical comedy about the eccentric Addams Family,” said Choral Director and Musical Producer Felecia Greco in a statement. “Audiences will remember these crazy characters from the popular TV show.”

Greco hopes to have in person audiences for the performances and can only confirm as the date of the performances gets closer.

“We are hoping to have a live audience but will have to wait to see what the indoor capacity is at the time,” said Greco. “We will give cast parents, families and friends the first opportunity to see the show in person and then go from there.”

Streaming video of the performances may be complicated due to permissions with regards to strict copyright laws on musicals.

Cast in the leading roles are: Jack Brown, as Gomez; Sarah Boots, as Morticia; Scarlett Hazen, as Wednesday; Tanner Tomak, as Pugsley, Gomez Understudy; Mady McCommons, as Alice; Hunter Rock, as Fester; Lindsay Meskel, as Grandma; Mark VanHorn, as Lucas; Gabriel Bungar, as Lurch and Mal; Hayden Slade, as Lurch and Mal; Trisha Kerr, as Morticia Understudy and an Ancestor; Bethann Keener, as Alice Understudy; Lynden Beinhauer, as Wednesday Understudy and an Ancestor; and Ian Stoneking, as Lurch Understudy and an Ancestor.
