Congratulations are in order for the 2020 Ellwood City Homecoming Queen and King!
The winners were announced Friday night during the Ellwood City varsity football game at Helling Stadium that pitted the Wolverines against Beaver Falls. Ellwood City was defeated 54-26 in the football contest. The game was streamed on the EC Wolverines YouTube.com webpage while the ceremony and crowning was live streamed on the Ellwood City Cheerleaders Facebook Page.
Sarah Boots was announced as the Homecoming Queen. Sarah, pictured below, was escorted by her father, Daniel Boots.
For the boys, Ryan Gibbons and Nico DeCaria tied in a vote for Homecoming King winner.
Eight senior girls and boys were each nominated to the Homecoming Court, VIEW ARTICLE. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will not be a Homecoming semi-formal this year.
