Penn State Master Gardener Hosting Basic Training Class

The Penn State Master Gardeners of Lawrence County will be hosting a Basic Training Class beginning Fall 2020. There will be an Informational Meeting to discuss the Training Class along with addressing any questions candidates may have. The informational meeting will be held Thursday September 10th at 6:30 pm.

The Basic Training class will include the following topics: botany, plant propagation, soil health and fertilizer management, composting, controlling pests safely, entomology, plant diseases, indoor plants, vegetables, lawn care, pruning, woody ornamentals, herbaceous plants, native plants, weeds and invasives.
