Spotted Lanternfly Workshop Planned

An upcoming FREE workshop presented by the Beaver County Conservation District will provide information about the alien invader, the Spotted Lanternfly, and how to reduce the problems caused by this non-native invasive pest. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 14th at The Barn at Old Economy Park in Baden. The workshop is schedule to start at 6:00 p.m. and last until 8:00 p.m. Attendees will learn how to identify and destroy the Spotted Lanternfly. Master Gardeners Host Annual Garden Tour

The Penn State Master Gardeners of Lawrence County are hosting their Fourth Annual Garden Tour on Sunday, July 18th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The tour highlights four area gardens, which can be toured at your own pace. Master Gardeners will be available at each location to answer questions. Each garden will provide an opportunity to view different styles of gardens, a chance to talk to the creators of these gardens and get their input on their gardening experiences, and talk to Penn State Master Gardeners from Lawrence County. Penn State Master Gardener Hosting Basic Training Class

The Penn State Master Gardeners of Lawrence County will be hosting a Basic Training Class beginning Fall 2020. There will be an Informational Meeting to discuss the Training Class along with addressing any questions candidates may have.
