Ellwood City Public Pool Opens Friday

With the summer in full swing, residents all have one place on their mind — Veterans Memorial Swimming Pool.

The pool will be opening Friday, June 12 from noon – 7 p.m, seven days a week. Masks will be required entering and inside the locker room facilities within the building. Patrons temperature will be checked prior to entering and the 6′ social distancing rule will still be followed.

Season passes will be offered to Residents and Non-residents, however daily passes will only be offered to borough residents. Non-residents can purchase season passes for youth (2-17) for $50, Adults for $66, Family passes for $115, and Seniors (60+) will be $50. For residents, season passes will be $40 for youth, $55 for adults, $95 for families and $40 for seniors. Daily passes will be $4 for youth and seniors and $5 for adults.

The pool is 164 feet long, 64 feet wide, and 3-8 feet deep. There is also a baby pool and spacious lawn to sunbathe. Veterans Memorial Pool deck house offers men and women’s locker rooms, showers, and restroom facilities. Life guards patrol the premises.

Hours of Operation: Open 7 days a week; Noon – 7 p.m.
