Ellwood City School Directors Approve Personnel, Spring Coaches

The Ellwood City School Board Directors voted during Thursday’s board meeting to approve personnel hires.

Among the appointments were Michael Elmer who was hired as an instructional aide and David Poore and Megan Rosenberger were approved as mentors for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year and for the first semester of the 2020-2021 school year.

Heidi Feltrop, secondary librarian was granted tenure.

Board directors also voted to update the ACT 93 Agreement to include Paul Pishioneri and his salary increase to $72,000 for the 2020-2021 school year.

Spring coaches were also appointed (Director Gary Rozanski Sr. abstained from the vote regarding coaching as his son was on the list as head coach of softball.) The following list of coaching appointment were approved by the board:

Baseball:

  • J.V.-Matt Germanowski
  • J.V.-Joe Ricciuti
  • Jr. High-Mike Widmaier
  • Volunteers-RJ Detulio, William Baker, Bob Varratti, Brad Welsh, Bradly Landis, Zachary Dugan, Paul Pishioneri

Softball:

  • Head Coach-Gary Rozanski Jr.
  • Varsity Assistant-Robyn Nicklas
  • J.V.-Shaelyn Barrett
  • J.V.-Merle McDonald
  • Jr. High Head Coach-Lucia Fee
  • Volunteers-Bob Sudano, Kay Bellissmo, Curt Agostinelli, Amanda Stiles

Track:

  • Head Coach-Tom Natale
  • Varsity Assistants-Emily Toland, Abbey Eisenbrown, Noah Borison
  • Jr. High Head Coach-Pam MacMurdo
  • Jr. High Assistant-Logan Petrak
