The Ellwood City United Fund board is appealing for help as the year 2019 is past and the goal for the 2020 campaign is short, $16,900. The board will extend the fundraising campaign until the end of the month.
The board request that if you haven’t given and you can, please give today.
There are many who depend upon us and other charities for the financing of programs that help the Ellwood City community and families. Some of the agencies spend more on our community then we are able to collect to help them to offset the expense of helping. City Rescue Mission, People-in-Need, L.A.R.K. Enterprises, Ellwood City Public library, Ellwood Family Center, Unicenter, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts.
Kevin Green, Director of City Rescue Mission writes, “ The money raised by the Ellwood City United Fund will help the MISSION to provide, food shelter and an opportunity for one to rest……and find peace. The past year the MISSION helped over 90 individuals in their struggles of life. Thank You.”
All funds collected by the United Fund stay in the Ellwood City area. It is only by the generosity of the community that the United Fund agencies are able to serve our neighbors and friends who are in need, and who are going through bad times in their lives. It is not the amount you donate but that you do give….your donation whether
large or small will directly benefit those close to you and others in the community.
DO WHAT YOU CAN—-WITH WHAT YOU HAVE
The Ellwood City United Fund board will extend the fundraising campaign until January 31st, 2020. Please give – Help keep us covered – thank you for caring.
