The 68th Ellwood City Little League Tournament, the oldest tournament in the area, began Tuesday night at Friedhoff Field in Ewing Park.
New Brighton squared off against Neshannock on Tuesday in the opening game.
Ellwood City will meet Saxonburg on Wednesday at 6:00 PM. Ellwood City will be seeking its first championship since 2008. Wilmington collected the tournament championship last year while Riverside has been crown champion three times in the last 10 years.
